Standard education does not provide children and youth with the skills required to solve every day problems within their community. Nook bridges this skills gap, boosts their employability and builds an entrepreneurial mindset that spurs innovation at the grassroots.
Nook maker-spaces are facilities where children of various age groups tinker collaboratively with a problem and keep trying until they find a solution. Along with a focus on STEM, these spaces are interdisciplinary, promoting important educational principles such as inquiry, play, imagination, innovation, encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and passion-based learning. These spaces offer authentic learning experiences connected to the real world, act as skill-based learning environments and are positive outlets beyond academic boundaries and campuses.
A creative space where children gather to explore, tinker, discover, and create, and to make children enthusiastic about learning while gathering skills.
