We share our cities with various animals – both strays and pets. However, an uncontrolled and uncared-for animal population can lead to conflict, which negatively impacts the quality of life of all urban residents, whether animal or human. This conflict can only be resolved with compassion and an understanding of the basic needs of all beings. With the aim of promoting coexistence between animals, humans and the environment, RoundGlass Foundation has established Animal Care.
We conduct Awareness Drives in various schools, universities, residential communities and public spaces to sensitize citizens to the state of stray animals. We disperse myths around hostility of strays, educate people on caring for animals and inform them on rescue, vaccination and adoption procedures.
