In a SOLE session, children, driven by their inherent curiosity, search for answers to ‘Big Questions’, such as “What would happen if insects disappeared from earth?” and “How do light switches work?”. These questions encourage students to explore theories, work collaboratively and exercise their reasoning and logic skills. There are no teachers in Learn Labs: SOLE. Instead, coordinators guide the sessions to make them more effective and enjoyable for children.
Under the Learn Cloud initiative, volunteers from across the world interact with children over Skype to help them improve their communication skills and aid them in their quest for knowledge. SOLE provides a platform for children to indulge their curiosity and discover new avenues of learning.
